قمرٌ
Qamarun
Qamarun betyr «måne» på arabisk og er en vakker nasheed som lovpriser Profeten Muhammad ﷺ gjennom bilder av lys, skjønnhet og gode egenskaper. Teksten uttrykker kjærlighet og beundring, og løfter frem Profeten som et lysende forbilde.
قَمَرٌ .. قَمَرٌ .. قَمَرٌ سَيِّدُنَا النَّبِيُّ قَمَرٌ وَجَمِيلٌ .. وَجَمِيلٌ .. وَجَمِيلٌ سَيِّدُنَا النَّبِيُّ وَجَمِيلٌ
Qamarun, qamarun, qamarun, Sayyidunā an-Nabiyyu qamarun Wa jamīlun, wa jamīlun, wa jamīlun, Sayyidunā an-Nabiyyu wa jamīlun
A moon, a moon, a moon: our master, the Prophet, is a moon. And beautiful, beautiful, beautiful: our master, the Prophet, is beautiful.
وَأَجْمَلُ مِنْكَ لَمْ تَرَ قَطُّ عَيْنٌ الله الله وَأَطْيَبُ مِنْكَ لَمْ تَلِدِ النِّسَاءُ الله الله خُلِقْتَ مُبَرَّأً مِنْ كُلِّ عَيْبٍ (3x) كَأَنَّكَ قَدْ خُلِقْتَ كَمَا تَشَاءُ
Wa ajmalu minka lam tara qaṭṭu ʿaynun, Allah Allah Wa aṭyabu minka lam talidi an-nisā’u, Allah Allah Khuliqta mubarra’an min kulli ʿaybin (3x) Ka’annaka qad khuliqta kamā tashā’u
No eye has ever seen anyone more beautiful than you, Allah Allah. No woman has given birth to anyone better than you, Allah Allah. You were created free from every fault. As though you were created just as you wished.

وَكَفُّ الْمُصْطَفَى كَالْوَرْدِ نَادٍ الله الله وَعِطْرُهَا يَبْقَى إِذَا مَسَّتْ أَيَادِي الله الله وَأَمَّا نَوَالُهَا كُلَّ الْعِبَادِ (3x) حَبِيبُ اللَّهِ يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرَايَا
Wa kafful-Muṣṭafā kal-wardi nādin, Allah Allah Wa ʿiṭruhā yabqā idhā massat ayādī, Allah Allah Wa-ʿamma nawāluhā kulla l-ʿibādi (3x) Ḥabību Llāhi yā khayra l-barāyā
The hand of the Chosen One is fresh like a rose, Allah Allah. Its fragrance remains when hands touch it, Allah Allah. As for his gifts, they reach all servants. Beloved of Allah, O best of creation.
